Another Early Nintendo Sports Game. Yeesh.
This one ain't too bad.
Yeah, Well What's Bad About It?
Nothing really stands out as being awful. Play control is fluid. Timing and movement are easy. There are five different difficulty levels, with the easiest being extremely easy, and the hardest being extremely hard. Doubles is even fun, and can be played solo or with a partner. And Mario makes a fine referee.
Any Cool Shots?
That, if anything, brings the game down. You can lob the ball, but there are no drop shots, no top spin, and controlling serves is more luck than anything.
So Who Would You Recommend This To?
If you're looking for a simple game of tennis (you don't want to mess around with complex shots) this is a good time killer.
