Qix

The Silly Rabbit Says: Qix are for kids!
Seinfeld Says: Qix is good. You got a problem with Qix?
The Bent Kangaroo Says: Okay, so we're running out of ideas.

So, What Kind Of Game Is This?

An original strategy game that's been ported from the arcade to practically every system since.

Ugh.  I Don't Want To Think When I'm Playing A Game

Don't worry, this game is incredibly simple. On the screen is a square.  It works and looks like an Etch-A-Sketch. You must make lines and turn them into blocks, without the Qix running into an unfinished line, or hitting sparks that run along the lines themselves. Once you've closed off 65% (or more, depending on the level) of the area, you've won.

Sounds Easy

On the contrary.  Qix may be the most difficult strategy game I've played besides chess. The sparks move very quickly, and the Qix roams about in a fairly unpredictable pattern. The gameboy version seems to be easier, but I've still never passed level 5 on any version. At least the play control is fluid.

Sounds Repetitive

Well, yes.

Who Would You Recommend It To?

This is not a game you're going to be playing for hours on end. But it's a decent time killer if you got a few minutes.
