Mega Man II

The Old Man Says: I am legally changing my name to "Fire Man."
Link Says: How about "Cryptic Advice Man?"
Mega Man Says: What weapon would I use against that?
The Bent Kangaroo Says: Don't use your sword.  You will pay.

What Kind Of Game Is This?

It is quite like the original Mega Man. Only much better.

Like, The Play Control?

Well, Mega Man still has a piss-poor vertical, but it doesn't cause frustration in this game, as there are few jumps that take super precise timing. He still can't shoot upwards, but some of the special weapons can do so, creating, quite often, strategic reaons to whip them out as opposed to the last game.

Speaking Of Strategy, How Does Order Level Work In This Game?

Much like the last game, where you can play the levels in any order you wish (although there are now eight instead of six). Also, like the previous game, weapons you gain in one level help you with the next. However, unlike the last game, there is more than one order you can play the game without it being insanely difficult. And different paths make some levels easier and some harder.

In Other Words, Replay Value!

Exactly.

Dare I Say, I Think You Like This Game.

I do. It has two difficulty levels, and on the normal level I found myself enjoying every nuance the game has to offer without becoming frustrated.  I was using save states, but found I rarely needed them, despite playing the game for the first time. There was only one part of the game that I would have become incredibly frustrated with had I been playing normally. Oh, and the graphics and sound are awesome. I may actually play this one again.

Who Would You Recommend This To?

Obviously, anyone who likes platformers. Many people consider this game to be the best Nintendo game ever. For those who love these kind of games (not me), I can hardly make an argument.
