One of the first platformers ever designed, ported from the arcade.

It Must Be Pretty Boring Then

After ten minutes or so. Then again, in the arcade, it would have taken a lot of quarters to play that long.

What Can You Do In That Time?

Save Pauline, your girlfriend, from the big bad ape Donkey Kong. He will throw barrels, springs, and fireballs your way to prevent Mario (the first game he appeared in) from reaching the top and saving her. Rinse and repeat until you lose all your lives or are satisfied with your high score.

What Did They Improve In The Port?

Nothing! In fact, they actually removed one of the four levels from the arcade, leaving us with three repetitive exercises.
