It was only the second time Beau picked Antonio Gates as he was forced to do so because of the bye week. Gates took full advantage of his opportunity to impress his owner by scoring three touchdowns on 145 yards and ten catches. This may be the highest point total for a tight end in SFFL history.
He only scored one touchdown, but he was twice taken down within the red zone twice after 50+ yard scampers, once on the one-yard line. But with 200 yards, he still netted 16 fantasy points. Congratulations, Mr. Tiki Barber.
The two-headed backfield of the Broncos proves gold for Bruce after playing both of them.  Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell combine for 233 rushing yards and three touchdowns for 27 fantasy points. Of course, the real POW should go to Mike Shannahan and the Bronco's orginazation for being able to give any running back they fancy 1,000 yards with ease.
LOSER Of The Week
Giants' owner Wellington Mara died last week. All of these cute little kids from his family paraded the field and put a curse on all the Redskins for week eight.  Marc BrunellClinton Portis, and Santana Moss combined for two fantasy points.  TWO. In honor of their badness, they all receive the LOW trophy for week eight. Honorable mention goes to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, who couldn't even manage a point against the 49ers, which is simply unspeakable.
