Yes, all praise Shaun Alexander. He scores four touchdowns for the second time this season and 29 fantasy points for the second time this season. And this is the third time he's appeared in the POW column. Only Priest Holmes has done that, and there's still 8 weeks left.
Not wanting to take all the fame away from Alexander, LaDainian Tomlinson takes a break on this play to do his favorite disco number. When he wasn't out there shimmying he was passing, running, and catching touchdowns. Something tells me he has a chance at catching Shaun in POW appearances.
For the first time in years, Edgerrin James decides to actually score touchdowns. Of course when Harrison and Wayne are both double-covered, there's really no other choice. With holes even Emmitt Smith would envy, James plunges in three times, the final one to give Bruce high score yet another time.
LOSER Of The Week
Yes, he was injured on the first play. And he's been racking up tons of yards this year. But when your owner is depending on you to score ten to fifteen touchdowns and you rack up a gooseegg, you have to be the loser. Randy Moss gets this week's honors, but he does have one thing going for him: He's running charity fishing events on Lake Minnetonka while his former teammates are busy with slightly less charitable fishing events on the same lake.
