Though they were facing one of the worst offensive lines in football, London Fletcher and the Buffalo Defense deserve POW honors this week. With five sacks, three picks, and two fumble recoveries, the Bills held the Texans to seven points, giving Ryan Lindell the field goal opportunities he needed and giving Bruce a Week 1 victory.

Despite having zero points at halftime (and barely positive yardage), Corey Dillon busted out of the gate with ninety plus yards and two scores to boost the Patriots to a week one victory on opening night. More importanly, he was the week's highest scorer with fifteen fantasy points.
Beau drafted him in hopes that the Saints would play with a renewed sense of purpose after Hurricane Katrina, and because Deuce McAllister always plays better on the road (where he'll play all sixteen games this year). He didn't let down, scoring twice against a tough Panther defense.  The Saints won the game on a John Carney field goal. Chris was three years old when Carney started kicking for the Buccaneers.
LOSER Of The Week
Samari Rolle shows what a good play by the Raven Defense looks like. Unfortunately, merely good plays don't get fantasy points, and they don't win football games either. Though they were good enough to simply bend in the first half, Peyton Manning and the Colts broke the Ravens in the second half, giving them, and Randy, and opening week loss.
