178 yards, an average of 5.7 yards per carry, with a key 36 yard run in overtime to set up the win is the perfect equation for player of the week honors. Oh yeah, and Stephen Davis scored a couple of touchdowns too. This guy is the Panthers. |

There is a player on the Giants who doesn't turn the ball over or drop most balls thrown his way. His name is Ike Hilliard, and his nine catches, 100 yards, and two touchdowns were just enough to carry the ugly Giant offense to a victory over the previously undefeated Vikings.

| After a four-week hiatus from this page, Priest Holmes is back and poses for this shot in preparation. While he only had 87 yards (on just 15 carries), he scored three more times, giving himself some sick numbers this time a year. While it seemed very easy for Priest this weekend and the Chiefs probably could have won with Merill Hoge in the backfield, he continues to prove himself as invaluable. Two of his touchdown runs were from behind the 10 yard-line, taking a lot of pressure off Trent Green.
Oh, and Priest leads the league in fantasy points for the third time this year. |
